Editorial Policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026

Readers trust us to be accurate and fair, and this page explains the standards we follow to earn that trust.

Our goal

We aim to give padel fans, from newcomers to regular followers of the tour, clear and honest answers they can act on. Each article is written to solve a specific problem: understanding a rule, following the scoring, working out how the tour fits together, or finding a legal way to watch.

How we research

  • Official sources first: the rules and announcements of the International Padel Federation (FIP), the Premier Padel tour and its tournaments, and official broadcaster pages.
  • Links to sources: we link to the primary sources behind our key facts so readers can check them. We link to the specific page where we can, not just a homepage.
  • Cross-checking: when sources disagree, which happens often with broadcast information, we say so and point readers to the official page rather than guessing.

News and tournament coverage

  • Original writing: we write our own explanations and analysis. We do not copy or closely rewrite other outlets’ reporting.
  • Facts and opinion: we keep reporting and opinion separate, and we label analysis as analysis. We do not publish rumors as fact.
  • Dates: guides that can go out of date, such as rankings, calendars and broadcast information, show when they were last checked.
  • How to watch: we link only to official and licensed broadcasters and streaming services. We never link to unauthorized streams.
  • Images: we use our own photos, diagrams or properly licensed images, and we credit them where required.
  • No betting: we do not publish betting tips, odds or links to gambling sites.

Independence

  • No tour, federation, brand or broadcaster pays for coverage or influences what we write.
  • Advertising and any affiliate commissions help fund the site, but they do not influence our articles. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
  • If we ever receive a sponsorship or a free product, we will disclose it on the page.

Keeping content up to date

We review guides that contain changing information every few months, and sooner when something important changes, such as a scoring rule or a broadcast deal. Updated articles show their latest revision date.

Corrections

We make mistakes sometimes. If you find one, email contact@padelangle.com with the page address and what needs to change. We check every report, correct confirmed errors promptly, and add a note to the article when a change is significant.

Comments

We welcome constructive comments. We may remove comments that are abusive, off-topic, promotional or misleading.
