This Privacy Policy explains what information Padel Angle (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit padelangle.com/, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the site you acknowledge the practices described here. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. If you leave a comment, we receive the name, email address and website you enter, together with the comment itself. We use this only to respond to you or to publish and moderate your comment.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, our servers and the services we use may record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, the pages you view, the page that referred you, the time and date of your visit, and your approximate location derived from your IP address.
Cookies and similar technologies
We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies, such as local storage, to make the site work, remember your preferences, measure traffic and show advertising. Our Cookie Policy explains which types we use and how to control them.
2. How we use information
- To operate, maintain and secure the site, and to prevent spam and abuse.
- To understand which content is useful so we can improve it.
- To display advertising, which helps pay for the site.
- To respond to your messages and requests.
- To publish and moderate comments.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
3. Advertising
We use Google AdSense and may use other advertising partners to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info. You can learn more about how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before using cookies for personalized advertising, and you can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings on the site.
4. Analytics
We may use analytics services, such as Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site. These services collect information such as pages viewed, time on site and general location, and report it to us in aggregate form. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
5. Affiliate links
Some links on the site are affiliate links. When you click one, the retailer or affiliate network may place a cookie on your device so that a purchase can be credited to us. We do not receive your payment or account details from the retailer. Please see our Affiliate Disclosure for more.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only in these situations:
- Service providers: companies that help us run the site, such as our web host, analytics provider and advertising partners, who may process information on our behalf.
- Legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
- Business changes: if the site is transferred to a new owner, information may be transferred as part of that change.
Some privacy laws treat advertising cookies as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. If that applies to you, you can opt out using the cookie settings on the site or through Google’s Ads Settings, as described above.
7. How long we keep information
We keep messages and comments for as long as needed to respond and to maintain the conversation on the relevant page, and delete them on request unless we are required to keep them. Analytics and advertising data are kept according to the retention settings of the providers concerned. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information: to access it, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy of it, and withdraw consent you have given. You also have the right not to be treated unfairly for exercising these rights.
- European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland: under the GDPR, you may exercise the rights above and may complain to your local data protection authority.
- California: under the CCPA and CPRA, you may ask to know what personal information we have collected, ask us to delete or correct it, and opt out of its sale or sharing.
- South Africa: under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to its processing, and complain to the Information Regulator.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@padelangle.com with the subject line “Privacy request”. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by the law that applies to you.
9. International transfers
The site and the services we use may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
10. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
Padel Angle is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
12. Links to other sites
